Jason Lewis, M.D.
Dr. Lewis is certified by the American Board of Anesthesia in Anesthesia with a sub-specialty certification in Pain Medicine and holds a Kentucky and Indiana Medical License. Dr. Lewis earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in 2004 and has since completed a General Surgery Internship, Anesthesia Residency, and a Pain Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Lewis is a Diplomat of the Board of Anesthesia, and member of American Society of Anesthesia, Kentucky Society of Anesthesia, American Medical Association, Greater Louisville Medical Society, and Kentucky Medical Association. He has worked as a faculty member at University of Louisville’s Department of Anesthesia and as a Staff Physician/Pain Medicine Liaison at a major hospital. S. Kyle Young, M.D.
Dr. Young is Board Certified in the specialties of pain management and anesthesiology. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in microbiology in 2001 and obtained his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 2005. While completing his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY, he also served as Head of Medical Student Recruitment and was a member of the Resident Review Committee and Curriculum Committee. Dr. Young chose to continue his education and pursue a fellowship in pain management at the University of Louisville because of his desire to have an impact on his patients’ lives. The specialty of Interventional Pain Management affords Dr. Young the potential for long-term rewarding relationships with his patients. James Jackson, M.D.
Dr. Jackson is Certified by the American Board of Anesthesia in Anesthesia with a sub-specialty certification in Pain Medicine and holds a Kentucky Medical License. Dr. Jackson earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in 1998. He completed his Residency & Fellowship Training at the University of Louisville College of Medicine as follows: Department of Perioperative Medicine and Anesthesiology, Intern year and CA-1 thru CA-3, 2002 – 2006 and Pain Fellowship 2006-2007. Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Board of Anesthesia, Kentucky Medical Association, and Louisville and Kentucky Societies of Anesthesiology. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Anesthesiology at the University of Louisville including specific instruction in Pain Management and Regional Anesthesia.
Jenna Dismore, M.D.
Dr. Dismore was Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and received her Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2015. She completed her Anesthesia Residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine 2014. Dr. Dismore earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2010. Prior to earning her Doctorate, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 2006. While in Medical School, Dr. Dismore was a Junior Inductee in Alpha Omega Alpha. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Dismore received distinguishing recognition, honors and awards including: Phi Beta Kappa, Dean’s List for eight semesters at I.U., Founder’s Day Scholar Recognition, Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Recipient, and Outstanding Scholar Scholarship Recipient.
Maureen Hilsenrad, MSN, APRN
Maureen is a dynamic, quality minded registered Nurse Practitioner in KY & IN and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse practitioners and American Nurses Credentialing Corporation. Maureen leverages 14 years of experience and extensive knowledge of Acute Pain Management, Acute Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Wound Care, and various long-term care scenarios. Maureen earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from University of Louisville and member of the National Honor Society of Nursing.
Kurt Reibling, COO
Kurt is the Chief Operating Officer of Kentucky Pain Associates overseeing all Operations, Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, and Clinical Services. Since 2009, Kurt has owned medical businesses or provided physician management services in the Louisville area. Prior to 2009 Kurt provided Merger, Acquisition and Business Start-Up services for entrepreneurs throughout the Midwestern and Southeastern regions. Kurt is a graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and earned his M.B.A. through Xavier University in Cincinnati. During his career at IBM, Kurt had the opportunity to gain vast Executive Management experience in Human Resources, Operations, Facilities Design & Construction, Accounting, Plant Maintenance, Distribution, Strategic Planning, and Telecommunications, Marketing and Sales.
Kathy Weems, Office Manager
Kathy is the Office Manager of Kentucky Pain Associates managing the Front Office, Clinical Staff, Back Office, and Referral Source Relations. Since 2009, Kathy has worked in all aspects of a medical practice including Billing, Collections, Medical Records, Marketing, and Management. Prior to working with KPA, Kathy worked in Financial Services for 15 years. She worked 3 years at American Capital on the Trading Desk in Houston, TX. She worked for 2 years with Smith Barney in Dallas, TX and then 10 years with Smith Barney in Louisville, KY. Kathy is a graduate from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Merchandising.
