Dr. Young is Board Certified in the specialties of pain management and anesthesiology. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, he obtained his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 2005, and is licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana.
Dr. Young has been working with KY Pain Associates since 2012, helping patients heal from chronic and acute pain. Dr. Young specializes in sophisticated treatments like Trigger Point Injection Therapy, Cervical and Lumbar Epidurals, Nerve Blocks, and Radio Frequency Ablation. This is all part of KPA’s philosophy of top quality care without overtreatment.
Since he was in 5th grade, Dr. Young knew he wanted to be a doctor. A plastic surgeon in his hometown was a big influence in helping him choose this career. Dr. Young says it’s incredibly rewarding to help get patients pain-free, especially if they’ve seen other healthcare professionals who tell them their condition is incurable. After being miserable and desperate for relief for so long, Dr. Young helps patients finally get pain free and back to enjoying life to the fullest.
In his free time, Dr. Young enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also believes in and practices good exercise for a strong body and mind!
Dr. Young is just one reason Kentucky Pain Associates is the #1 choice for Auto Accident Injury and Workers’ Compensation Patients, Providers, and Attorneys in the Louisville Metro and surrounding areas.
