Jill is a licensed speech pathologist, brain injury specialist, and yoga instructor. She received her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Louisville in 2009. In graduate school, she developed a particular interest in neurorehabilitation and has specialized in this since 2012. She loves helping people to learn more about their own thinking and communication skills, using a person-centered and participation-focused approach. Jill has a special interest in mindfulness, breath work, and yoga and uses these tools to support individuals in reaching their cognitive and communication goals. She has completed 200-hr yoga teacher training as well as certification in Love Your Brain Yoga for health providers. She is on the board of the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky and is thrilled to join in the amazing work this organization does. At KPA, Jill is working with individuals with changes in: memory, attention/concentration, processing information, word-finding, self-regulation, and other cognitive-communication skills.
