Shane Kibbe, MD, MSBS, BA, of Kentucky Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, obtained a Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and a Master of Science from the University of Toledo in 2008. He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo in 2012. He completed his residency training with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Louisville from 2012 to 2017. He then did a yearlong fellowship in Sports Medicine at Beacon Orthopedics, in Cincinnati, from 2017 to 2018. During his time at Beacon Orthopedics, he served as a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds, Morehead State University Athletics, and with Archbishop Moeller High School.
