Sylvester is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed in KY & IN. He is also a retired U.S. Army Veteran with 20 years of active-duty service. He was a Combat Medic and License Practical Nurse in the military. Sylvester graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2019 with a Master of Science in Nursing. He is also certified with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME). Sylvester’s 40 years of healthcare experience is as diverse as his education. This experience includes the fields of Interventional Radiology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Labor and Delivery and Urgent Care. Sylvester is passionate about the care he provides. His philosophy is to actively involve the patient in their care, empower them to make the best decision for their healthcare goals and to treat other the way he would like to be treated.
